A record is published only after the installer has been produced, hashed and signed. Every field maps to a value that can be checked against the file on disk.
A platform-specific installer is produced for its target architecture.
A SHA-256 checksum is computed directly from the finished installer.
The installer receives a detached OpenPGP signature from the release key.
Filename, architecture, checksum, signature and fingerprint are published together.

Compare the exact filename, SHA-256 checksum, OpenPGP signature and signing fingerprint with the values computed from the file on disk. If any value differs, do not run the installer.
